Paige plays on ESPN Wednesday night

Marcus PaigeMarcus PaigeLinn-Mar senior Marcus Paige will play in the 35th Annual McDonald's All-American Games on Wednesday night on ESPN at the United Center in Chicago.

Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.

Paige, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 28 points this season and led Linn-Mar (20-5) to the semifinals of the Class 4A state tournament. He has signed a national letter-of-intent to play for the North Carolina Tar Heels next season.

More than 1,000 players have competed in the McDonald's Games since 1978, including such stars as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose.
