Beth Knapp had a pair of RBI doubles for Marion, but the Indians lost a 4-3 softball decision to North Cedar Wednesday at Marion.
North Cedar pushed across a pair of unearned runs in the first inning, but Marion tied the game in the bottom of the frame on Knapp's RBI double and Paige Perkins' run-scoring single.
Olivia Brown's RBI single in the third pushed North Cedar back ahead, 3-2.
North Cedar added an insurance run in the fifth when Olivia Baxa drew a bases-loaded walk.
Knapp's one-out RBI double in the fifth pulled the Indians within 4-3.
Marion dropped to 7-10.
