Jefferson girls bowl over Warriors

Laura Hemphill rolled games of 233 and 194 for a 427 series to lead Jefferson past Washington, 2755-2285, Friday in a Mississippi Valley Conference girls bowling meet at Lancer Lanes.

The J-Hawks built a 459-pin lead in the first round and cruised to the win.

Nicole Peterson rolled a 204 game and 382 series for Jefferson, and Jessie Alff a 203 and 394.

Lynze Moon led Washington with a 16 high game and 311 series.

JEFFERSON (2755): Laura Hemphill 233-427, Jessie Alff 203-394, Nicole Petersen 204-382, Lindsey James 180-359, Mariah Achey 189-358, Rylea Bennett 191-352.
