Iowa City West beat Jefferson, 1-0, Wednesday in a penalty-kick shootout at lower Kingston.

The win gave the Women of Troy (15-2, 12-1 MVC) the Valley Division title. The finished a game ahead of Xavier.

West is 5-0 in shootouts, Jefferson 1-3. The J-Hawks closed out the regular season 7-10 overall, 6-7 in the MVC.

Jefferson's next game is June 1 against Waterloo West in a Class 3A regional semifinal at Kingston Stadium. West plays Iowa City High the same night.
