ELDRIDGE - Katie Dierks, Shalyn Kinney and Riley Kesterson scored goals in the shootout Friday as Cedar Rapids Jefferson beat North Scott, 1-0, at the North Scott tournament.

The teams battled to a 0-0 draw through regulation and overtime in windy conditions in Eldridge. Dierks, Kinney and Kesterson came through in the shootout, and Jefferson keeper Maddy Webber saved three of the four North Scott attempts to secure the victory.

The J-Hawks squared their record at 2-2.
