Brooke Stauffer pitched her second straight no-hitter Friday as Jefferson nipped Springville, 2-1, in eight innings in the Jefferson Softball Classic.

Dani Stromert went 2-for-3 in the victory over Springville.

Alyssa Olson tossed a four-hitter with nine strikeouts as the J-Hawks trimmed Burlington, 3-2, in their second game.

Amber Grimm went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Jefferson (4-0). Maddie Hansen drove in two runs.

Springville defeated North Cedar, 8-5, and Burlington blanked North Cedar, 3-0, in the other games Friday at the Classic.
