J-Hawk tankers swamp Waterloo East

Jefferson senior Lance Scallon won four events and the J-Hawks swamped Waterloo East, 125-32, Tuesday night in a boys swimming meet at Jefferson.

Scallon won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.02 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 55.88. He also swam on the winning 200 medley relay and 200 free relay.

Jefferson's Luke Hummell was a triple-winner. He won the 100 free and swam on the medley and 200 free relays.

Waterloo East freshman Tyler Kamp won two events, the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke.

Jefferson won nine of 11 events.
