Knapp's 19 lead Marion past Williamsburg

Beth Knapp continued her hot shooting Friday night with 19 points that led Marion past Williamsburg, 46-40, in Wamac girls basketball.

Knapp finished the week with 45 points. She scored 26 Tuesday night in a win over Independence.

Michalyn Mohr added 15 points for Marion (13-6, 10-3).

Lindsay Schlabaugh scored 17 points to lead Williamsburg (13-7, 8-5).

Marion trailed 10-7 after the first quarter, but outscored Williamsburg 14-4 in the second period to take a 21-14 lead at halftime. The Indians never trailed in the second half.
