WHEATLAND - Shelby Hembera scored 24 points Friday night as Cedar Valley Christian won its second straight game with a 45-39 victory over Calamus-Wheatland.
The Huskies (3-14) defeated Montezuma, 40-39, on Tuesday and will be aiming for a three-game winning streak when they visit Waterloo Christian on Saturday.
Lindsey Cach pitched in 12 points for Cedar Valley Friday night and Dominique Eniola added eight markers for the winners.
Hembera was fouled by Calamus-Wheatland much of the night and went 12 for 21 at the free throw line.
Calamus-Wheatland fell to 0-20 for the season. McKenna Luepker scored 10 points for the home team.
