Jessica Pedersen and Sarah Lasecki won individual titles for the Cedar Rapids Kennedy tennis team Saturday at the rain-shortended Kennedy Invitational at the Veterans Memorial Tennis Center.

Pedersen prevailed at No.1 singles, and Lasecki was the winner at No.2 singles.

Marissa Don Diego, Hanna Krivit, Lindsey Rutz and Clara Gilbert placed second for the Cougars at No.3, 4, 5 and 6 singles.

The doubles competition was not finished because of wet grounds.

Kennedy and Waterloo West tied for the team title with 20 points, followed by Decorah (11) and Ottumwa (9).
