TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Cedar Rapids Jefferson graduate Morgan Allee has broken the school record for most stolen bases in a single season with the Indiana State softball team.

Allee, a shortstop, has stolen 30 bases in 38 games for the Sycamores (14-24) and leads the Missouri Valley Conference in that department.

Allee graduated from Jefferson in 2010 and spent two years at Iowa Central Community College before joining ISU this season as a junior.

Allee is hitting .352 with two home runs and 17 RBIs. She has been caught stealing seven times.

Allee set the record Tuesday against IUPUI.
