Kennedy bounced back from a difficult Saturday morning to drub Iowa City High, 8-1, and split a pair of Mississippi Valley Conference boys tennis meets at Kennedy.

Iowa City West blanked the Cougars, 6-0, in the morning. The Cougars won 13 games but did not capture a set. Doubles were not played because of cold weather and West had already clinched the win.

Kennedy's Quinn Jamrock beat Holden Feagler in a tiebreaker at No.1 singles to get the Cougars off to a good start against City High.

Jamrock, Jimmy Cunningham, Nate Kenworthy and Brett Blomberg won singles and doubles matches for Kennedy.
