MUSCATINE - The Kennedy Cougars won seven events and captured top honors at the Dave Mathews Invitational boys track meet in Muscatine Monday.

Kennedy finished with 128 points in the eight-team field for a comfortable 35-point victory over Clinton.

The Cougars got individual titles from Famiek Cook (200), Marcus Perkins (400 hurdles), Derek Jacobus (long jump) and Drew Heitland (shot put).

Kennedy also claimed the shuttle hurdle relay, 4x200 relay and 4x100 relay.
