Xavier only had to play three matches Tuesday to notch a 9-0 boys tennis win over Waterloo East.

East brought only two competitors to Xavier. The teams played two singles matches and one doubles match. East had to forfeit the other six matches.

Xavier's Chris Schirm defeated Alex Pietan, 6-0, 6-3 in singles.

Colin Reilly of Xavier beat Andrew Paige, 6-3, 6-1 in singles.

Schirm and Reilly team to beat Pietan and Paige, 7-5, 6-7, 11-9 in doubles.
