Kernels replace Burris with Jones

The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Minnesota Twins announced Friday that right-hander Tyler Jones has been activated from the seven-day disabled list and right-hander Josh Burris has been assigned to extended spring training in Fort Myers, Fla.

Jones went on the DL May 6 with a right flexor mass strain. In 10 relief apperances for the Kernels he has a 2-1 record, 3.21 ERA and four saves in 14 innings.

Burris made eight relief appearances for the Kernels with no record and a 10.80 ERA in 10 innings.
