CEDAR FALLS - Tiianna Drahn's two-out RBI single sparked a three-run rally that sent Kennedy past Cedar Falls, 4-1, Tuesday in the first game of a Mississippi Valley Conference softball doubleheader.

Cedar Falls won the nightcap, 11-6.

Kennedy (8-18, 5-13) took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fifth of the opener on Hannah Harberts' RBI double. Cedar Falls tied the game in the bottom of the sixth.

An error plated Kennedy's second run in the seventh inning and Ashley Hamilton singled home the third run.

Kennedy jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning of the nightcap. Harberts and Tanner Rathjens hit sacrifice flies and Erin Coker had an RBI single.
