Maddy Ryan pitched a five-hit shutout as the Linn-Mar Lions blanked Dubuque Wahlert, 11-0 in five innings, in the second game of a Mississippi Valley Conference doubleheader at Linn-Mar Tuesday night.

The Lions also won the first game, 10-8.

Elison Ollinger went 2-for-2, scored two runs and drove in two runs for Linn-Mar in the 11-0 victory. Alexis Kelsey and Hannah Yearling had two RBIs. Christina Lincoln had two hits.

Ollinger went 3-for-3, scored two runs and drove in another in the opener. She was 5-for-5 in the doubleheder with four runs and three RBIs.

Kelsey went 3-for-4 with an RBI in the opener and was the winning pitcher. Ryan and Yearling collected two RBIs. Kelsey Duggan and Madison Rentschler had two hits.

Linn-Mar (13-21, 10-14) carried a 10-3 lead into the seventh inning, but Wahlert (12-24, 5-19) scored five runs to make it interesting.
