ELDRIDGE - Brandon Bradley tossed a three-hit shutout to lead Linn-Mar to a 5-0 win over North Scott and a split of their non-conference doubleheader Saturday at North Scott.

North Scott won the opener, 2-1.

Brandt Ollinger's infield single scored Jimmy Roth, who had doubled and moved to third on Austin Banks' single, for first run in the Linn-Mar fourth. Jackson Jacobs' sacrifice fly scored Banks.

Jacobs had an RBI single in the sixth. Mitch Stickney added an RBI double and Austin Stroschein a sacrifice fly in the Lions' two-run seventh.

Although the games did not count in the Mississippi Valley Conference standings, the Lions fell one-half game behind Wahlert in the Mississippi Division. The Golden Eagles beat Dubuque Hempstead, 4-1, Saturday in a makeup game.

Linn-Mar closes out its MVC season Monday with a doubleheader against Kennedy.
