DUBUQUE - Davis Sutton claim medalist honors with a 1-under-par 69 Thursday as the Kennedy Cougars captured top honors at the Drex Fall Golf Shootout at the Dubuque Golf & Country Club.

The Cougars finished with a four-man score of 298 to defeat Dowling Catholic by 14 shots. The Xavier Saints finished third at 316.

Conner Koberg shot a 2-over 72 for Kennedy to finish third in the individual standings. The Cougars also got a 78 from Ross Grekoff and a 79 from Cole Murdock.

Ben Sagers and Kellen Gray of Xavier tied for seventh place at 6-over-par 76. Mitch Willems of Jefferson also tied for seventh with a 76.

Jefferson finished fifth out of 15 teams in the standings. Linn-Mar and Washington tied for ninth place. Prairie finished 14th.
