It took the Kennedy boys golfers all of one day to get back in the win column.

The Cougars scored a 10-stroke win Thursday in a Mississippi Valley Conference quadrangular hosted by Linn-Mar at Hunters Ridge.

Kennedy finished fourth Wednesday at the Johnston Invitational in Granger.

Davis Sutton was medalist for the Cougars with a 36, one shot ahead of teammates Conner Koberg and Seth Nutt.

Dominic Roriguez's 38 led Washington to a second-place finish. Linn-Mar was third, Waterloo West fourth.
