INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana scored a pair of second-period goals it made stand up in a 4-2 win over the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders Friday night in a USHL game.
Alec Marsh and Judd Peterson scored third-period goals for the RoughRiders.
Cedar Rapids got as close as one goal twice, but never led the game.
Marsh scored on a power play 37 seconds into the third period to pull the RoughRiders within 2-1.
Peterson's unassisted goal came with 4:47 left in the game and pulled the RoughRiders within 3-2.
Indiana's final goal was an empty-netter with 8 seconds left.
The RoughRiders play at Indiana again Saturday night at 6:05 (Iowa time).
