IOWA CITY - Cedar Rapids Washington junior Brooke Foreman was the top hurdler at the 7th Annual Steve Sherwood Relays Thursday at Iowa City High School.

Foreman captured the 100 meter hurdles in 15.61 seconds and took the 400 meter hurdles in 1:05.40, winning both races by considerable margins.

Foreman collected her third victory in the 4x100 relay, anchoring the team to first place in 51.16 seconds with Layloni Beard, Jazz Royster and Alissa Oney running the first three legs.

Iowa City High dominated the five-team meet with 163 points. Washington finished second with 91 points.

Xavier, Burlington, Bettendorf, Muscatine and Mount Pleasant withdrew from the meet after it was postponed on Tuesday due to cold weather.
