Warriors fall to Western Dubuque

EPWORTH - The Washington Warriors were beaten by a three-man gang Saturday.

Spencer Haldeman, Nolan Baumhover and Cole Otting scored all 62 of their team's points as Western Dubuque topped Washington, 62-56, in a non-conference basketball game in Epworth.

Haldeman collected 32 points, eight rebounds and four assists for Western Dubuque. Baumhover contributed 17 points and eight rebounds. Otting furnished 13 points.

 

Washington trailed by 13 points at halftime, 35-22. The Warriors outscored the Bobcats in the second half, 34-27.

Maurice Arrington had 17 points and six rebounds for Washington (2-8). He shot 7 for 8 from the field and hit all three of his free throws. Jared Printy hit four 3-pointers and also scored 17 points. Jake Kramer had six assists.

Western Dubuque made 26 of 30 free throws and outscored Washington at the foul line, 26-12.
