Here is our Question-&-Answer session with Daly Quinn:

MSR: What is your favorite individual highlight in sports?

DALY: My favorite individual highlight in sports is when I scored 21 points in the first half in the Wisconsin Dells this summer when I played for the Iowa Mavericks.

MSR: What is your favorite team highlight in sports?

DALY: My favorite team highlight is going to substate last year against Davenport Assumption in basketball. We came together as a team and knocked off two very good opponents before getting us one game short of every athlete's goal, the state tournament.

MSR: Who has played the biggest influence in your sports career?

DALY: My family has been the biggest influence on my sports career because they have always pushed me to be the best I could possibly be, have taught me it takes lots of work and desire, and have always supported me.

My dad has influenced me with helping me with my shot and ballhandling skills. All three of my older brothers never gave me any breaks and I had to work really hard to keep up with them. I appreciate everything my family has done to help me achieve my goals.

MSR: What are your future goals in sports?

DALY: My future goals in sports are to be successful in the remainder of the basketball season individually and as a team. Also to have a good golf season following basketball. I want to continue to be active and involved in sports activities throughout my life.

MSR: What are your favorite classes in school?

DALY: My favorite classes in school are English and Psychology.

MSR: What has been your favorite community service project?

DALY: My favorite community service project is Vacation Bible School at my church. I worked as a team leader to help kids learn about God and have an enjoyable week. This is a great way for me to strengthen my faith as well as influence children in a positive way.
