DUBUQUE - Loras used a 14-3 run early in the second half to sprint past Coe, 81-57, Saturday and in the championship game of the Iowa Conference women's basketball tournament.

Loras (19-8) advances to the NCAA Division III tournament next week.

Megan Hayes scored 17 points and Mackenzie Reed 13 for Coe (16-11).

Katie Langmeier scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Loras.

Coe trailed 35-28 on Hayes' layup with 17:32 left in the game.

But Victoria May hit a pair of 3-pointers to spark Loras' 14-3 run that blew the game open, 49-31, with 11:47 left.

Coe never got closer than 12 points the rest of the game.
