Former J-Hawk Ryan Garman fired a no-hitter pitching for Grand Valley State (Mich.) on April 3.
Garman struck out eight, walked two and hit two batters in the seven-inning contest. Grand Valley beat Ashland (Ohio), 7-0.
The no-hitter was the seventh in Grand Valley State history and the first for Garman, a junior playing his first season for the Lakers.
Garman ran his record to 4-1 Sunday (April 10) in a 5-3 win over Saginaw Valley State.
Grannd Valley State (21-3) is ranked No. 3 in NCAA Division II.
