MONMOUTH, Ill. - Nathan Chilcott and Ryan Palser fired even-par 71's Friday as the Kirkwood Eagles grabbed the opening-day lead at the Scot-Fire Classic at Gibson Woods Golf Course.
Kirkwood leads the tournament with a four-man score of 290 after 18 holes.
Alec Meyer of the College of DuPage set the pace with a 2-under 69.
