Marisa Berutti scored two goals Thursday as the Xavier Saints blanked Waterloo West, 3-0, in a Mississippi Valley Conference soccer match at Heco Field.

Josie Fuhrman tallied the first goal for the Saints, who are ranked No.1 in Class 2A.

Xavier led at halftime, 3-0. The Saints out-shot Waterloo West, 35-10, including a 12-4 margin with shots on goal.

Katie Ives collected an assist for the Saints.
