The Xavier girls tennis team won both of its matches in the Class 1A regional tournament at Xavier Saturday.

The Saints will host Western Dubuque in the regional finals May 24, with the winner advancing to the Class 1A state tournament.

Xavier blanked Oskaloosa, 5-0, in the opening round Saturday and defeated Davenport Assumption, 5-1, in the regional semifinals.

Allison Jasper, Claire Bouchard, Jeanne Bouchard, Emma Deignan and Katie Neumeyer won both of their singles matches for the Saints.
