PLYMOUTH, Ind. - Nathan Chilcott of Kirkwood Community College shot an even-par 72 Thursday and climbed into a tie for fifth place at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament after 54 holes at the Swan Lake Resort Black Course in Plymouth, Ind.

The final round is scheduled for Friday.

Chilcott jumped five spots in the standings Thursday, moving from 10th place to fifth on the leaderboard. He has fired rounds of 76, 71 and 72 for a three-day total of 3-over 219.

Chilcott trails Tanner McKinney of Mineral (Mo.) Area College by five shots heading into the final round. McKinney is sitting at 2-under 214.
