Xavier remains the top-ranked team in Class 2A in the poll released Wednesday by the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association.

The Saints (4-1-1) garnered all nine first-place votes.

Four other Metro Teams also are ranked. Marion moved up two spots to No. 13 in the Class 2A poll.

Kennedy and Washington are ranked fourth and fifth in the Class 3A poll and Linn-Mar is No. 12. Washington moved up two spots from last week. Kennedy and Linn-Mar held their spots.

West Des Moines Valley remains the top ranked team in Class 3A. Iowa City Regina also retained the top spot in Class 1A.
