DAVENPORT - Spencer VanScoyoc went 5-for-5 with a home run and six RBIs Wednesday night as Jefferson spanked Davenport North, 9-4, in a prep baseball game in Davenport.

Connor VanScoyoc, Spencer's younger brother, was the winning pitcher as the J-Hawks raised their record to 20-12.

Michael Neuberger went 3-for-4 for Jefferson. Ben Koering had two hits. Drew Johnson scored three runs and Mannie Olutunde scored twice.
