DES MOINES - The Washington Warriors won five events Saturday and claimed top honors at the Des Moines Lincoln girls swimming meet.

The Warriors set a meet record in the 200 medley relay in 1:56.48 with Kaitlyn Nemickas, Caitlin Sievers, Lauren Havertape and Logan Eckhardt sharing the pool.

Havertape took the 100 fly, Nemickas won the 100 backstroke and Sievers prevailed in the 100 breaststroke. Washington also won the 200 freestyle relay with Nemickas, Lucy Ernst, Havertape and Eckhardt.

The Warriors won the eight-team meet with 519 points.
