EAST MOLINE, Ill. - Jack South shot a 69 Sunday to gain a share of the individual lead and push Mount Mercy to a two-shot advantage in the team race at the Ashford Invitational.

The Mustangs shot a team total of 287 at Short Hills Country Club, two shots ahead of Ashford, which was led by co-leader Ryan Hilton who also shot a 69.

The second and final round is scheduled for Monday.
