Eight new members will be inducted into the Marion High School Hall of Fame Friday night.

The ceremony will be held between the sophomore and varsity football games against Western Dubuque at the Marion Football/Track Complex at Thomas Park.

The six Marion athletes who will be entering the Hall of Fame are Bob Coon (1945), George Palmer (1951), Norm Rathje (1954), Kate Humiston Oleson (1998), Allen Reisner (2007) and Angela Bys (2007).

The two new community members for the Hall of Fame are John Fowler and Dan Barkley.
