The Kennedy Cougars jumped into the prep volleyball rankings in the No. 10 spot in Class 5A, the IGHSAU announced Thursday. The Cougars (17-9) were not ranked last week.

The Prairie Hawks (20-9) fell from No. 6 to No. 9 in Class 5A.

The Marion Indians (27-5) remained in the No. 3 spot in Class 4A. The Xavier Saints dropped out of the 4A rankings.

Harlan is ranked No. 1 in 4A and undefeated Bettendorf is No. 1 in 5A.
