QUINCY, Ill. - Joe Tagarelli filled up the boxscore Wednesday night as the Kirkwood Eagles dumped John Wood, 84-63, in a junior college basketball game in Quincy, Ill.

Tagarelli finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocks as the Eagles raised their record to 3-0 for the young season.

Jordan Ashton made three 3-pointers and finished with 15 points for Kirkwood. Ajay Lawton also hit three triples and provided 13 points.

Matt Lassen and Hunter Rhodes made a pair of 3-pointers and contributed 12 points apiece.

Kirkwood shot well from behind the 3-point line, nailing 10 of 18. The Eagles led at halftime, 36-27.

John Wood (2-1) suffered its first loss of the season.
