Linn-Mar junior Claire Larson has accepted an offer to continue her soccer career at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Larson collected nine goals and eight assists in 19 games last season as a sophomore, helping Linn-Mar compile an 18-1 record and come within one game of making the Class 3A state tournament.

She was named first team all-conference, first team all-Metro, second team all-district and second team all-state in 2014. She was the highest-scoring freshman in Class 3A in 2013.

Larson plays club soccer for FC United and Iowa ODP.

Missouri-Kansas City plays in the Western Athletic Conference and came within one victory of reaching the NCAA Division I national tournament this year.
