Brooke Foreman of Cedar Rapids Washington and Amanda Piche of Linn-Mar top the list of Metro athletes who have qualified for the state track meet in Des Moines May 19-21.

Foreman is seeded No.1 in the state in the 400 hurdles and is among the top qualifiers in the 100 hurdles. Piche is ranked No.1 in the discus in Class 4A.

Cedar Rapids Jefferson is ranked No.1 in the 4x200 relay heading to Des Moines.

The IGHSAU released the entire list of qualifiers for the state track meet on Friday. The Union said the list is tentative until lane and heat assignments have been announced.

WASHINGTON (4A)
Kristin Rogers (3000), Brooke Foreman (100 hurdles, 400 hurdles), Layloni Beard (100 hurdles, long jump), Tydel Jones (discus), shuttle hurdle relay, 4x100, 4x200, 4x800, sprint medley, distance medley.

KENNEDY (4A)
Aarionna Craig-Dothard (200), Kathia Wampole (800), Allison Culver (1500, 3000), Kristen Huebsch (high jump), 4x100, 4x400, distance medley.

JEFFERSON (4A)
Rachel Broghammer (100), Emma Edelen (discus), shuttle hurdle relay, 4x200, sprint medley.

PRAIRIE (4A)
