Hembera nets 28 as Cedar Valley falls

WYOMING - Shelby Hembera collected 28 points and 12 rebounds Friday night as Cedar Valley Christian lost to Midland of Wyoming, 64-40.

Hembera was held to seven field goals in the game. She scored half her points at the foul line, netting 14 of 19.

Morgan Petersen led Midland with 19 points.

Cedar Valley fell to 6-3 for the season. Midland, ranked 15th in Class 1A, raised its record to 7-3.
