Foul shots doom Wash boys in loss

Western Dubuque shot 32-of-49 from the free throw line and beat Washington, 73-59, Saturday in a boys basketball game at Washington.

Keion Wills scored 14 points for the Warriors (5-6), Keegan Moore had 11 points and Jared Printy had 10 points. Washington shot 7-of-13 from the free throw line while committing 33 fouls.

Cole Otting scored 24 points for the Bobcats. Spencer Haldeman had 18 points, shooting 13-of-20 on four shots. Nolan Baumhover had 16 points, hitting 12-of-16 from the line.
