DUBUQUE -Jiri Fronk scored the only goal of the game and Ryan Larkin stopped all 29 shots he saw as the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders earned a key 1-0 victory Sunday over the Dubuque Fighting Saints before 2,311 fans at the Mystique Ice Arena.

The victory kept the RoughRiders (31-15, 62 points) three points ahead of Youngstown in the USHL's Eastern Division. Dubuque is third (26-13-4, 56 points). Cedar Rapids remained two points behind Sioux City for the league's best overall record. Sioux City won, 4-1, over the Riders on Saturday in Cedar Rapids.

In Sunday's game, both teams were 0-for-5 on the power play. Dylan McLaughlin and Hugh McGing assisted on Fronk's tally at 4:38 of the third period.

The Riders are on the road this coming weekend with games Friday and Saturday at Muskegon.
