Marion boys wear crown at Tipton

TIPTON - The Marion Indians won five events and claimed top honors at the Tipton Invitational boys track meet Tuesday.

Colton Forster captured the 1600 in 4:42.74 and Skylar Cook won the long jump at 21 feet and 1/2 inch.

The Indians also claimed the 4x800 relay (8:49.74), the shuttle hurdle relay (1:02.27) and the 1600 distance medley (3:51.91).

Devin Quinn, Cook, Blair Brooks and Deshaun Quinn ran on the shuttle hurdle relay. Josh Holley, Jacob Deeter, Nathaniel Schmidt and Hunter

Reifschneider ran on the distance medley.

Marion finished with 126 points in the eight-team field.
