Cedar Rapids Washington football players O'Rien Vance and Andrew Todd have been offered scholarships by new Iowa State Coach Matt Campbell.

Vance, a junior, is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound all-state linebacker. Todd, just a sophomore, is a 6-3, 250-pound offensive lineman who received honorable mention laurels this season on the All-Metro and All-District teams.

"Very honored, but in no hurry to commit," Todd told the Metro Sports Report. "I need to meet the coaches and explore all my options. I don't want to commit until I'm 100 percent certain."

Washington finished 10-2 this season and reached the quarterfinals of the Class 4A playoffs.
