Brock Mulder shot a 4-under par 68 Sunday and won the Greater Cedar Rapids Open at Hunters Ridge.

Mulder, from Waterloo, finished 15-under par in the event, which was shortened to 36 holes because of thunderstorms that played havoc with the schedule throughout the week.

Mulder received $20,000 for the win.

Chris Thompson from Lawrence, Kan., and Tom Bliefnick from Decatur, Ill., tied for second place.

Linn-Mar assistant boys golf coach Bill Hoefle finished tied for seventh place at 6-under par. Former Linn-Mar prep Marc Gladson shot a 75 Sunday and finished tied for 84th place at 7-over par.

Greg Sweatt from Irmo, S.C., shot a 66 and won the Senior Division by two shots over Dave Rummells and Barry Cheesman.
