Former Marion prep Allen Reisner and ex-Kennedy prep Ben Lamaak have signed free agent contracts with NFL teams.

Reisner, a tight end from the University of Iowa, signed with the Minnesota Vikings.

Lamaak, an offensive lineman from Iowa State, signed with the Oakland Raiders.

Both players were college seniors last season and were not selected in the NFL Draft in April. NFL teams were not allowed to sign free agents during the labor negotiations between owners and players that resulted in a lockout by the owners. The sides agreed to a new labor agreement and teams were allowed to sign free agents beginning Tuesday.
