Noah Lalonde scored a short-handed goal at the 5:39 mark of the third period Friday night to snap a 1-1 tie and give Youngstown a 2-1 victory over the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in a USHL game before 2,408 fans at the Ice Arena.
Jacob Hayhurst lifted the RoughRiders into a 1-1 tie in the second quarter, but it was the only time Cedar Rapids could find the net all night.
Ben Blacker made 30 saves for the RoughRiders.
Despite the loss, the RoughRiders still lead the Eastern Conference with 51 points. Green Bay is second with 48.
