ONALASKA, Wis. - The sixth-ranked Kirkwood men's golf team is tied for first place after the opening round of the Ronnie Eastman Invitational at the La Crosse Country Club in Onalaska, Wis.

Kirkwood and St. Ambrose finished the first 18 holes at 306 Monday. The second round is Tuesday.

Louis Flynn led the Eagles with a 3-over-par 75 and is tied for second place, just one shot behind the leader. Jordan Even, JD Goodfellow, Charlie Hartwig and Niall Powell all shot 76's for Kirkwood.
