Storyline - Kennedy puts its two-game winning streak on the line against a powerful Iowa City High club that last Friday put 52 points on the board against previously unscored upon Xavier. City High beat Kennedy 21-0 last year at Iowa City.

Iowa City High - The Little Hawks have rolled to four straight wins by an average score of 44 to 15. City High steamrolled Xavier 52-24 last Friday behind Ronald Thompson's 210 yards rushing and two touchdowns. His 833 yards lead the state in Class 4A. Quarterback Jasper Washington also ran for 94 yards and two touchdowns and completed 3 of 4 passes for 40 yards and two touchdowns. City High has run for 1,628 yards and passed for 171. Kennedy - The Cougars have unleashed a devastating running game the past two weeks, rushing for 663 yards in wins over Washington and Dubuque Senior. Alex Hillyer has rushed for  offense broke out against Washington in a 41-28 win last Friday. Alex Hillyer took over as tailback and has run for 359 yards. Trevor Heitland moved to flanker and has caught 10 passes for 146 yards. Heitland ran for 146 yards against Senior and scored three touchdowns for the second straight week.
