BROOKINGS, S.D. - Rachel Gadient of Mount Mercy placed sixth in the  pentathlon at the NAIA indoor national track meet Friday.

Gadient scored 3,241 points in the event.

She finished second in the  high jump competition in the pentathlon at 5 feet 4 1/2 inches and was  fourth in the shot put at 33-6 1/4.

The NAIA meet continues Saturday.
